POM為白色一般不透明,著色性好, 比重1.41-1.43克/立方厘米,成型收縮率1.2-3.0%,成型溫度170-200℃ ,干燥條件80-90℃ 2小時。POM的長期耐熱性能不高,但短期可達(dá)到160℃,其中均聚POM短期耐熱比共聚POM高10℃以上,但長期耐熱共聚POM反而比均聚POM高10℃左右??稍?40℃~100℃溫度范圍內(nèi)長期使用。POM極易分解,分解溫度為240度。分解時有刺激性和腐蝕性氣體發(fā)生,故模具鋼材宜選用耐腐蝕性的材料制作。
(1)POM是結(jié)晶型塑料,密度為1.42g/cm3,它的鋼性很好,俗稱“賽鋼”.
(2)它具有耐疲勞、耐蠕變、耐磨、耐熱、耐沖擊等優(yōu)良的性能,且摩擦系數(shù)小,自潤滑性好.
?。?)POM不易吸濕,吸水率為0.22~0.25%,在潮濕的環(huán)境中尺寸穩(wěn)定性好,其收縮率為2.1%(較大),注塑時尺寸較難控制,熱變形溫度為172℃
POM強(qiáng)度、剛度高,彈性好,減磨耐磨性好。其力學(xué)性能優(yōu)異,比強(qiáng)度可達(dá)50.5MPa,比剛度可達(dá)2650MPa,與金屬十分接近。POM的力學(xué)性能隨溫度變化小,共聚POM比均聚POM的變化稍大一點(diǎn)。POM的沖擊強(qiáng)度較高,但常規(guī)沖擊不及ABS和PC;POM對缺口敏感,有缺口可使沖擊強(qiáng)度下降90%之多。POM的疲勞強(qiáng)度十分突出,10交變載荷作用后,疲勞強(qiáng)度可達(dá)35MPa,而PA和PC僅為28MPa。POM的蠕變性與PA相似,在20℃、21MPa、3000h時僅為2.3%,而且受溫度的影響很小。POM的摩擦因數(shù)小,耐磨性好(POM>PA66>PA6>ABS>HPVC>PS>PC),極限PV值很大,自潤滑性好。POM制品對磨時,高載荷作用時易產(chǎn)生類似尖叫的噪聲。
POM的電絕緣性較好,幾乎不受溫度和濕度的影響;介電常數(shù)和介電損耗在很寬的溫度、濕度和頻率范圍內(nèi)變化很?。荒碗娀⌒詷O好,并可在高溫下保持。POM的介電強(qiáng)度與厚度有關(guān),厚度0.127mm時為82.7kV/mm,厚度為1.88mm時為23.6kV/mm。
環(huán)境性能
POM不耐強(qiáng)堿和氧化劑,對烯酸及弱酸有一定的穩(wěn)定性。POM的耐溶劑性良好,可耐烴類、醇類、醛類、醚類、汽油、潤滑油及弱堿等,并可在高溫下保持相當(dāng)?shù)幕瘜W(xué)穩(wěn)定性。吸水性小,尺寸穩(wěn)定性好。
POM的耐候性不好,長期在紫外線作用下,力學(xué)性能下降,表面發(fā)生粉化和龜裂。
⒈增強(qiáng)POM
主要增強(qiáng)材料為玻璃纖維、玻璃球或碳纖維等,并且玻璃纖維常用,增強(qiáng)后的力學(xué)性能可提高2~3倍,熱變形溫度提高50℃以上。
⒉高潤滑POM
在POM中加入石墨、F4、二硫化鉬、潤滑油及低分子量PE等,可提高其潤滑性能。例如,在POM中加入5份F4,可降低摩擦因數(shù)60%,耐磨性提高1~2倍。再如,在POM中加入液體潤滑油,可大幅度提高耐磨性和極限PV值
POM又稱賽鋼、特鋼。它是聚合所得。POM-H,POM-K是高密度、高結(jié)晶度的熱塑性工程塑料。具有良好的物理、機(jī)械和化學(xué)性能,尤其是有優(yōu)異的耐摩擦性能。
POM是一種表面光滑,有光澤的硬而致密的材料,淡黃或白色,可在-40- 100°C溫度范圍內(nèi)長期使用。它的耐磨性和自潤滑性也比絕大多數(shù)工程塑料優(yōu)越,又有良好的耐油,耐過氧化物性能。很不耐酸,不耐強(qiáng)堿和不耐紫外線的輻射。(加入U(xiǎn)V劑,能大大提高其耐紫外線等級)
